Family Biking Routes

Your family vacation to Lake Como isn't complete without a scenic bike ride! Go exploring beyond the lakeside towns and attractions and into the mountains! The routes below are our recommended family biking routes, as well as routes where kids (at least 1.25m in height and with biking experience) will have fun too!

These are the safest routes in our area in terms of keeping off the main roads. They are all on secondary roads or bike paths and trails with many points of interest along the routes. On the secondary roads, car traffic is minimal. Given that our area is hilly/mountainous and there are no truly flat roads, we recommend everyone ride an electric bike for these rides.

These routes were designed to be ridden on e-bikes. We also have tag-a-long bikes and child seats for the little ones to come along for the ride.
