- Notes on E-bike Tours: Thursdays and Saturdays we run our Bellagio Tasting Tour by E-bike! We taste different local food at three different special places around the backcountry of Bellagio. Our Ghisallo E-xperience and "Wild" E-bike Tours take you up the mountain that you can discover best by bike!
- Notes on Road bike Tours: Our road bike tours are no more than 55km total and open to intermediate to advanced level cyclists. Only road bikes can be used and participants are expected to be able to maintain a 28-30km/h or 17-18mi/h pace in flat sections, as well as climb comfortably from 400-1300m elevation gain, in order to have a similar level group. If you prefer a slower paced tour we recommend one of our e-bike trips.

Bellagio is more than the picturesque, cobbled town center area overlooking the lake. Bellagio’s town limits extend up mountainside. Ride with us to explore Bellagio and beyond, reaching the famous Madonna del Ghisallo cycling chapel via a scenic some secondary roads, gravel paths, and uphill switchbacks that give you a fresh viewpoint at each turn. What's Included: E-bike rental, Guide, picnic lunch in ride Price: €95 per person The Bellagio mountainside has some special scenery that the average visitor doesn't get a chance to see, unless you have a chance to bike it! Ride with us, up and away from Bellagio, to explore the beautiful and serene countryside. Our tour goes on several fun, little roads and paths that give you a local perspective of our area. We'll do some easy off-road sections and enjoy a little picnic with local and fresh specialties once we reach a high point, where we can view beautiful Lake Como and admire how far we've climbed! This ride follows our Ghisallo E-xperience route map but with some slight changes to see more of the "wild side". Wednesday: Onno & Ghisallino

The Ghisallo Experience with Bike It! Bellagio
The Madonna del Ghisallo climb is special: it’s the symbol and most important pass off the Giro di Lombardia since 1919, it’s been part of many editions of the Giro d’Italia, and you can climb up from Bellagio. The Ghisallo is not only one of the many popular Italian cycling climbs: it's legendary, it’s a popular pilgrimage destination, and it’s the spiritual capital of cycling. On top of the climb is the Madonna del Ghisallo Cycling Sanctuary and Ghisallo Cycling Museum: two places that will show you how important the sport of cycling is and has been in Italy since the early 1900s. The memorabilia, spirituality, and the many legendary stories make the Ghisallo one of the most unique places in the world for cyclists.
As Bike It! Bellagio is in partnership with the Ghisallo Cycling Museum, you can join us at least 3 days a week (on e-bikes or road bikes!) for a special guided trip to the Madonna del Ghisallo by bike ... a MUST-do activity while visiting Lake Como. These rides include a guided stop at the Madonna del Ghisallo Cycling Chapel and the Ghisallo Cycling Museum. This bike ride is for EVERYBODY, whether you’re on a road bike or e-bike! Any climb is possible with our E-bike rentals.
